Pixieland Amusement Park features a couple small storybook style houses and some kiddie rides. The park opened in the late 1950s as King Norman's Wonderland. It closed in 1965 with the development of a nearby shopping center. The rides were moved to Oakland for a while. They returned here to Concord in 1970 when Pixie Playland opened. The name was later changed to Pixieland. For more, see this website.

Children's Wonderland was built in 1962. The playground/park closed in 1999 and was rebuilt in 2007. For more, see this website. [map]

Storyland opened in 1962. With the purchase of a "magic key," children can listen to parts of the stories represented around the park. There is also a train ride around the park and Playland amusement park next door. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3.
