This former station was built in 1927 for the Hansen Oil Co. selling Dixie brand gas. The sign feature with a clock has been there since the beginning. By the mid-1930s, this was a Skelly station. It ceased being a gas station in 1990. The building now houses an insurance office. [map] |

This former station was built in 1933. It was a Phillips 66 station until it closed in 1989. The building appeared to be vacant in 2007. By 2023, the building appeared to be used as a residence. [map] |
former Cities Service station Darlington, WI |

This former Cities Service station was built in the 1930s. It later housed an Ioco station. The pumps were removed in 1988. In recent years, the building housed a farm supply store. Since 2017, the building has housed the City Service Brewing. The building probably looked similar to this one in Correctionville, IA. For more, see this website. [map] |

This former station was built in 1925 and was originally north of town. The building had a "Japanese style" roof. In the beginning or early on, this was a Sinclair station. The owner built a sandwich shop next door and then golf, tennis, and croquet courts. Cabins and polo fields were built nearby and this station was renamed the "Polo-Resto" station. In 2004, the building was threatened by new development and moved here to Voyageur Park. For more, see this website. [map] |

This former station in Genoa now houses the Jambois Garage. The building appears much older than the Skelly sign. [map]
This former station in Hartford was built in 1928 as Lohr's gas station. In the 1950s, the canopy portion of the building was filled in when the building housed Troeller Tire Shop. In 2007, the building housed a State Farm Insurance office. It appeared to be vacant when this photo was taken in 2011. By 2016, the building was housing a massage studio. It now houses Honey Lane Co., a home goods store. [map] |
