When we drove through farmland, Fix was always on the look-out for cows and horses. For many years, Fixie's favorite snoozing spot while driving was in this too-small-for-her Sherpa dog carrier. Her favorite roadside observation position was squeezed behind me while I was driving. She let me know when she wants to be petted by waving a paw in the air. If that failed, she would sit up and wave both paws. When she was in a particularly goofy or happy mood, Fixie liked to roll around on her head and looked like she was trying to do headstands. |
