This Coca-Cola Building operated as a bottling plant from 1939 until around 1970. From 1974-1990, the building was occupied by the Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company. Qwest Communications was there from 1991-2007. The building is now owned and occupied by Seattle University. By 2011, the building had been repainted. [map] |
Canada Dry Building [gone] Seattle, WA |
This Canada Dry Building was used for production and distribution. It was built from 1945-1946. The building was purchased are remodeled in 1964 by Seattle University. In 2020, the building was demolished.
There are only a handful of these buildings left including these in Silver Spring, MD, Minneapolis, MN, and San Diego, CA. An example in Portland, OR was demolished around 2009. |
