Spillman Carousel Grand Rapids, MI | ||
This Spillman Carousel is located at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. It was built in 1928. There are 44 horses, two chariots, a giraffe, lion, deer, goat, tiger and camel. There is a mix of Spillman Engineering, Herschell-Spillman, Looff and Carmel figures. The ticket booth and band organ are original. This carousel was installed in Barnesville, PA from 1928-1982. After restoration, the carousel opened here in 1994. For more, see this website. |
