"Classic" Roosters (page 1) |

The Roosters shown at these two pages were produced by International Fiberglass in the 1960s. I have nicknamed them the "Classic" Roosters since far more of them were produced than the other types of fiberglass rooster statues. They are eight feet tall and weigh 100 pounds. The statues could be ordered with custom paint jobs. However, the exotic paint schemes on the statues shown below at this page were done later. These statues have been copied by other companies. Most of these copies are made of aluminum. For more, see this website. |

This Rooster in Foley is located at Hood's Home Center which has been selling concrete architectural products, statues, pots, furniture, etc. at this location since at least 2008. [map]
The Rooster in Benton was installed at I-30 Concrete & Sales along with this Razorback Hog and other statuary. By 2019, the business had closed and this rooster was gone. The Rooster in Fort Smith is installed at the Park at West End. [map] The Rooster in Hot Springs is located at the Spa City Ink tattoo studio. [map] |

The Rooster in Page was installed in front of the Bird House restaurant around 2018. [map] The Rooster in Yuma was installed in a pickup in front of the Buy Sell Trade store. This photo was taken in 2012. It appeared to be one of the more recent aluminum models rather than a fiberglass model. The feathers on the body are much more detailed. By 2018, the store had closed and the statue was gone. The Rooster in Tucson also appeared to be aluminum. It stood in front of Copper Country Antiques when this photo was taken in 2012. It was still there in 2015. By 2016, the store had closed and the statues that were there were gone. The Rooster in Fort Mohave was an aluminum model. It was installed at the entrance to a strip mall. This photo is from 2014. By 2015, the statue was gone. |

The Rooster in Compton was installed on the roof of Firas Farms Poultry, a live poultry market. This photo is from 2008. The statue was still there in 2015 but gone by 2016.
This Rooster in Lockeford is installed in someone's yard. It was previously installed at Pollardville in Stockton, CA. There was also another rooster at Pollardville on top of the sign there. For more, see this website. [map] The Rooster in Jackson is also an aluminum model. It is installed in front of Poor Man's Bronze, a store with numerous other aluminum statues. [map] The Rooster in San Diego was installed in front of this Crack Shack restaurant around 2015. [map] The Rooster in Costa Mesa was installed in front of this Crack Shack restaurant around 2024. The tag on the rooster's leg indicates that it was purchased from Main St. Collectors in Hesperia, CA. There is another rooster statue at the Crack Shack in Encinitas, CA. [map] This Rooster in Colusa is located on the roof of the Tower gas station. The statue was previously installed on a trailer when there was a Shell station here. [map] |

The Rooster in Pomona is mounted on top of the sign of Donahoo's Golden Chicken restaurant. [map]
The Rooster in Riverside is strapped down to the roof of another Donahoo's Golden Chicken restaurant. There is another Donahoo's in Ontario, CA but there is not a rooster statue there. [map] These four Rooster statues in Anaheim are located at the Anaheim Packing House. [map] |

The second Rooster in East Los Angeles is installed on the roof of Majestic Poultry. [map] The first Rooster in Buena Park shown above was installed in front of BP Grill in 2017. The restaurant and statue are gone now. This first Rooster in Buena Park at Mrs Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant was there when this photo was taken in 2008. The Rooster in Midway City stands on the roof of Baladi Poultry. [map]
This Rooster in Morgan Hill is located at Advanced Trucks. This is the aluminum type with more detailed feathers. [map] The first Rooster in San Bernardino shown above is located in front of the All Pet Feed & Tack Store. There is also a fiberglass horse statue. At some point between these 2008 and 2013 photos, a small cow statue was added. [map] The second Rooster in San Bernardino shown above was installed on top of the canopy at the Screaming Chicken Saloon. It was gone by 2021. There are two other Roosters in San Bernardino at the Juan Pollo headquarters. |
