Mice
Pinconning, MI
These two Mice are located at Wilson's Cheese Shoppe. One is on the roof and the other is on a trailer. The store opened in 1939. These statues are probably from the 1960s or 1970s. [map]

Mouse
Memphis, TN (now Ringgold, GA)
2007: 2021:
Atomic Pest Control was founded in 1958. The company bought this Mouse in 1969. He was originally on a trailer and was stolen numerous times by prank-pulling fraternities. Therefore, the mouse was moved to the roof in 1978. He stands nearly 11 feet tall and has an 11-foot-long tail and three foot long whiskers. The cheese is nearly seven feet tall. In 2013, Atomic Pest Control merged with Allied Termite and Pest Control. The mouse statue was moved to a relative's company, Enviroguard Pest Solutions, in Ringgold. For more, see this website. Mouse
Fennimore, WI
This Mouse in Chippewa Falls was installed in front of the Red Zone Sports Bar around 2011. He was nicknamed Murray. By 2021, the statue was gone.

This Mouse in Wisconsin Dells was once located on the main road next to Mr. Pancake. I believe he last advertised for a convenience store. When these photos were taken in 2007, the statue was located in a storage lot behind the Noah's Ark water park. By 2010, it was gone.

This Mouse in Fennimore was originally known as "Yum-Yum" when he was created for a chain of cheese stores that never materialized. He was discovered in a ditch by the owner of Fennimore Cheese who adopted and placed him in front of his store in 1971. He was named "Igor" after Igor Stravinsky who died the day this mouse was installed. The Fennimore Cheese Co. was sold to Carr Valley Cheese in 2005. Carr Valley initially removed Igor but brought him back because of his popularity. The statue was restored in 2006. For more, see this website. [map]

By 2015, the statue had been moved to the front of the store. By 2022, there was also a giant ice cream next to him and a cow statue across the parking lot. In 2023, all the statues appeared to be gone and the store had closed.

This Mouse in Waterloo was installed in front of Jim's Cheese Pantry. The store closed in 2018 and the Mouse was gone by 2019.

This Mighty Mouse is one of many other statues on the pier. This photo is from 2007. The statue was removed and put in storage during Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The storm destroyed the Mighty Mouse roller coaster. I believe this statue has been reinstalled on the pier. For more, see this website.

Mouse
Luxemburg, WI
This Mouse is located at Ron's Wisconsin Cheese. In 2014, the statue was removed during building remodeling. By 2023, the statue had been repainted and reinstalled. The mouse is now white and wears a green vest and a cheesehead. The cheese on which he stands is now yellow. This pointing mouse looks very similar to the Boo-Boo Bear statues which were made for Jellystone Parks. For more, see this website. [map]

Mouse
Sturgeon Bay, WI
This Mouse is located at Renard's Cheese "Cloverleaf" location. This mouse's hand that holds the cheese is in a different position from the one in Luxemburg described above. This statue also has only one face. The store calls him "Melvin." In 1996, a representation of the mouse statue was painted on the building. It appears the statue was located closer to the road originally. These photos are from 2011. By 2014, he had been moved to the patio. For more, see this website. [map]

There was another one of these mouse statues at the Renard's Cheese "Rosewood" location in Algoma, WI. That statue was mounted on a pole and only had one face. That statue is gone now and the store has closed.

Super Mouse
Austin, TX
This Super Mouse holds at laptop. He has been located at Discount Electronics since around 2011. I'm assuming that it's a mouse although he doesn't have a tail, unless it's tucked under his cape. I don't know if the character has a name. [map]
