The Hercules Powder Co. plant opened on this property in 1923. The company produced chemical products. This building served as the employee cafeteria, club room, and store. I believe it was built in the early 1940s. Ashland Inc. bought the property in 2009 and the plant closed later that year. For more, see this website. [map] |
