State Supreme Court and Library Carson City, NV |

The State Supreme Court and Library was designed by Frederic Joseph DeLongchamps and built from 1936-1937. The Supreme Court moved in 1991 and the building has housed the Office of the Attorney General since then. [map] |

Hotel El Cortez Reno, NV |

The Hotel El Cortez was designed by George A. Ferris & Son and built in 1931. There were panel signs on the roof originally. The middle photo in the bottom row above housed the Trocadero Room cocktail lounge which was added in 1941. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This Winnemucca Volunteer Fire Department building was designed by Andrew P. Weidman and built in 1935. This photo is from 2014. The Fire Department moved to a new building in 2015. The building has been since been painted beige and brown. [map] |
