This Tyrannosaurus Rex statue was installed temporarily in 2010. It was located in front of Union Station during the Dinosaurs Unearthed Exhibit. The exhibit closed in 2011 and the statue has been removed. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. |

These two Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops statues were created by Jonas Studios from molds used to produce statues for the 1964-1965 Sinclair Oil Dinoland Exhibition in New York City. These statues were originally installed in 1968 in Oak Knoll Park in Clayton, MO. They were moved here next to the McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park in 1987. [map] |
