This Sinclair Dinosaur in New Orleans was installed in the owner's front yard in 2018. [map]

This Sinclair Dinosaur in Milford was installed on the roof of Accurate Auto Care by 2009. I don't know how long the statue had been there or when it received this custom paint job. By 2017, the building was housing J&L Auto Repair. The statue was removed around 2023.

This Sinclair Dinosaur was located on the roof of Conroy's Garage. The company incorporated the dinosaur as part of its logo. Conroy's Oil Service has been around since 1942. This building was previously a Sinclair station. The dinosaur is from the early 1960s. When the station was rebranded as a Gulf station, the statue was removed. Customers missed it. Therefore, in 1988, it was put on the roof. It was there in 2015 but gone in 2016.

The Sinclair Dinosaur in Duluth stood at a long-abandoned gas station when this photo was taken in 2008. The station has since reopened as a Sinclair and the statue has been repainted. [map]

The Sinclair Dinosaur in Austin is a quick and easy photo-op since it's at the Sinclair station right off I-90. [map]

The Sinclair Dinosaur in Belgrade looked content in the flowerbed at this Sinclair station. By 2018, the station had been rebranded as a Casey's and the statue was gone.

The Sinclair Dinosaur in Appleton was installed at a Sinclair gas station. The statue was gone by 2022.

The Sinclair Dinosaur in St. Louis Park was located at the Roller Garden. The statue was installed on the roof in the 1960s or 1970s. In 2010, it was moved indoors. There was also a tribute to the polka-dotted statue in a painted mural on the outside of the building. In 2021, Roller Garden closed. The building was renovated for Kenwood Gymnastics Center and the mural was painted over. I believe the statue was moved to the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand in Falcon Heights, MN.

Although there are countless Sinclair stations in Missouri, I have only seen a few with the Dinosaur statues.

The Sinclair Dinosaur statue in St. Louis was at a Sinclair station when this photo was taken in 2005. The station is now a Phillips 66 and the statue is gone.

The Sinclair Dinosaur statue in Kansas City disappeared in 2008 about six months after the station closed. It is believed that this statue was stolen.

The Sinclair Dinosaur statue in Wilson appears to be from a former Sinclair gas station. It now stands in front of the Imagination Station Science Museum. These photos were taken in 2004 in near darkness. The statue has been repainted yellow. [map]

Grand Island, NE
Nebraska has more Sinclair Dinosaur statues than any other state. North Platte seems to have Sinclair stations every few blocks and nearly all of them have the dinosaur statues on top of their canopies or signs. I suspect that these statues are new and still being produced.

This Sinclair Dinosaur appears to be a well-kept vintage version. The station switched from Conoco to Sinclair sometime between 2007 and 2012. The statue was added after that. [map]

There are many Sinclair stations in Las Vegas but this is the only one that I know of that had a Sinclair Dinosaur. Around 2017, the gas station was rebranded and the statue was removed.

The Sinclair Dinosaur in Carson City was brand new and installed in 2019. The new statues have darker green paint and their heads are turned to the right. By 2022, the station had become a Valero and the statue was moved back in front of the convenience store. It is gone now. [photo thanks Robert Cope]

The Sinclair Dinosaur statue Tulsa was installed sometime in 2018 or 2019. It was a Phillips 66 station before that. This statue, with its head turned to the right, is the modern version. The statue is installed next door at the Stephenson Oil Company which probably supplies to the station. [map]

The Sinclair Dinosaur statue in Pauls Valley was located inside a Sinclair station's service bay when this photo was taken in 2006. By 2011, the station and dinosaur were gone.

This Sinclair Dinosaur statue in Davis is installed on the canopy of a former Sinclair station. The building now houses Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies. [map]

This Sinclair Dinosaur statue in Tahlequah is located in front of a Sinclair station. It was installed there sometime after 2015. [map]

This Sinclair Dinosaur statue in McAlester is an example of the smaller model. It was installed here at Griffeth Hot Rods sometime after 2018. It appears to be gone now but it may have been moved further back on the property. [map]
