This former A&W Root Beer in Burley had housed Main Street Burger since 1989. By 2018, it was housing Burley Burger. It is now housing an Arctic Circle. [map]

This former A&W Root Beer in Twin Falls housed Mister Burger when this photo was taken in 2014. By 2018, the building had been demolished.

This former A&W Root Beer last housed Becker's Drive-in. Becker's opened in 1949 at this location. The original building was demolished in the early 1960s and this one was erected then. I don't know when the relationship with A&W started or ceased. Becker's closed in 2016. The building was demolished in 2019.

This A&W Root Beer in Iron Mountain still features the pilgrim hat building and car hop canopy. This location closes for winter. [map]

This former A&W Root Beer in Ypsilanti was built in 1972. The building housed Pacific Beach Burritos when this photo was taken in 2011. In 2014, the building was vacant. In 2016, the pilgrim hat had been removed and there was construction going on. Soon after that, a Checkers opened in the building. The building now houses Cristy's Burgers & Sliders. [map]

This A&W Root Beer was built in 1970. The "pilgrim hat" building has been modified. The original flat canopy was replaced with this zig-zag type at some point. In 2010, the restaurant went independent and is now known as the Flushing A. [map]

This A&W Root Beer was built in 1972. It features a vintage interior complete with the original Tiffany-style lights and pilgrim's hat fireplace. Does anyone know of any other A&W locations that still have a fireplace? The drive-in canopy at this location has been replaced with an addition to the building. These photos are from 2010. [map]
