Borden's Ice Cream Parlor
Lafayette, LA
The Borden's Ice Cream Parlor opened here in 1940. Borden's Dairy once had many of these ice cream parlors near their production plants. This is the only one left. The dairy plant buildings near this ice cream parlor were demolished in 1968. However, this place still sells Borden's ice cream and features Elsie the Cow decorations.
