This former station shown on the above left now houses a check cashing business. This photo is from 2012. The building was painted green previously. By 2017, the building was obscured with an addition for the liquor store next door. [map]

This former station shown on the right housed Time to Buy when these photos were taken in 2012. I wouldn't be surprised if this building is fairly modern and modeled after Phillips 66 or Conoco cottage stations. [map]

This former station was built in 1932 by lumber dealer W.G Brown. He built the station from 40 tons of petrified logs which he had collected. The station was featured in the Ripley's "Believe It Or Not" newspaper column in the 1930s. In 1962, the building housed Lamar Tire Service. The building has been vacant in recent years but it is on the lot of a used car dealership. There is another petrified wood station in Decatur, TX. [map]

This former station was built in 1937. It might have been a Cities Service station originally. It was known as Kenroe's station at one time. There were Sinclair dinosaur statues installed in front of the station at some point. In recent years, the building was used as a coffee shop. It was vacant when these photos were taken in 2012. By 2016, it was housing a Mexican restaurant. [map]
