This former station in Dawson Springs is now occupied by Panther Pizzeria. Does anyone know what brand of gas was sold here originally? [map]

former Aetna station
Middletown, KY
This Aetna station was built in the late 1920s and was the first gas station in Middletown. The building later housed a dry cleaners and a taxi stand. It was donated to the city in 1996 and restored. [map]

former Texaco station
Lexington, KY
This Denver-style Texaco station has been here since at least 1937 when it was known as Dick Dixon's Texaco. The building was used as the office for Ramsey's Restaurants when these photos were taken in 2010. By 2015, the building was housing Missy's Pies, Etc. The trim on the building had been painted turquoise. This station would have looked like this one when it was built. [map]

This Texaco station housed Cuppa: A Tea Cafe when this photo was taken in 2010. The building now houses Sorella Gelateria. The right part of the building is a recent addition. Originally, the building probably looked like this one in Mansfield, OH. For more, see this website. [map]

This former Shell station was probably built in the 1920s. The building has been closed for many years. I don't know what brand of gas was originally sold here. The station was part of a motor court complex which was destroyed in a fire. [map]
