This CITGO station was probably built in the 1920s or 1930s. There was also mid-century modern looking canopy and pumps in back of the building. These photos are from 2004. The building was demolished around 2010. |
Way Way General Store Saco, ME |

The Way Way General Store was built between 1927 and 1929. It was named for its location on the outskirts of town. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The store stopped selling gas in the 1980s and then closed officially in 2003. These photos are from 2009. In 2011, the store reopened. [map] |
