former station Charleston, SC |
former Gulf station Orangeburg, SC |
This former station in Charleston appears to be from the 1920s or 1930s. The building has apparently been vacant for many years. [map]
This former Gulf station appears to be a repair shop now. I suspect that this building originally had the white porcelain enamel panels like these stations. [map] |
former station Blacksburg, SC |
This former station looks somewhat like a Pure Oil station. While Pure Oil had two chimneys on the sides of their buildings, these are shaped differently. Also, the gable over the door is not consistent with Pure Oil's cottage station design. [map] |
