Referee [gone] Laconia, NH |
||
The Referee is from the late 1970s or early 1980s when this place was known as the "Time Out Pub". He wears a cowboy hat and stands on a hamburger spiked with a golf tee. The statue is about 15 feet tall and made of cement which has probably prolonged his longevity in this spot. The building next to him, vacant now for at least a couple years, was most recently the "Blackwater Bar and Grill". These photos are from 2003. There is a new building and business on the property and the statue is gone. |
