Larry Baggett began building the Trail of Tears in the 1970s. This monument to the Cherokee Indians is located in Jerome, MO. The seated statue at the entrance is a self-portrait. Baggett passed away in 2003 and the statues are not maintained. These photos are from 2010. For more, see this website. |
