Noah's Ark [gone]
St. Charles, MO

2024:
This Noah's Ark was built in 1966 as a restaurant resembling a steamship. The ship was 155 feet long, 60 feet wide and 25 feet tall. It was later transformed into Noah's Ark with fiberglass animals and a statue of Noah on the roof.

Noah's Ark was closed for many years. In 2005, the structure in conjunction with the adjacent abandoned Days Inn, was used as the Haunted Hotel for the Halloween season. In 2007, the building was demolished and a new shopping complex was built. An alligator, the giraffes, and one of the elephants were saved and moved to a park in the New Town development. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4. [map]

This Noah's Ark in Selma is located in a paddock of miniature horses. It has been there since at least 2007. I don't know what it's original purpose was, if any. [map]

This Noah's Ark in Lehi was built around 2000 as part of the Children's Discovery Garden in the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. It is the main feature of a splash fountain for children to play in. The Discovery Garden is now part of the Museum of Natural Curiosity which opened in 2014.
