Ocean Beach Park Mini Golf
New London, CT
Ocean Beach Park Mini Golf is a sweet old course with vintage figures and obstacles. The spouting whale and spinning windmill are simply adorable. [map]

Prehistoric Golf
Portland, CT
Prehistoric Golf has a dinosaur theme. The holes switch back and forth across a steep hill. Most folks would find this place tacky, but I found it charming and fun. In 2019, the place was closed and the property was for sale. In 2021, it was still for sale and the statues remained. [map]

Safari Golf
Berlin, CT
Safari Golf has apparently been here a long time. It's in great shape but hasn't sacrificed its old style feel. There are fun, challenging holes and lots of fiberglass animals. The greens are well-maintained, the landscaping is lush, and water features abound. There are also plenty of big shady trees to keep things cool in summer. [map]

Putter's Paradise
Berlin, CT
Putter's Paradise is just north of Safari Golf. This course is well-maintained and has lots of old school obstacles. [map]

Fairways Miniature Golf
South Windsor, CT
Fairways Miniature Golf has a nice old, cute course. The owner claims that it was built in the 1950s. There are also batting cages and ice cream. [map]

Blue Fox Walk Mini Golf [gone]
Simsbury, CT
Blue Fox Walk Mini Golf offered modern golf elements like sand traps. It replaced a much older mini golf at the same location. This course was gone by 2021.

Mar-Lea Mini Golf & Driving Range
Bolton, CT
Mar-Lea Mini Golf is a wonderful and well-maintained classic course. For more, see this website. [map]

Ellington Golf Center [gone]
Ellington, CT
The Ellington Golf Center has another wonderful old mini golf course. I believe the place closed in 2017. By 2018, it had been demolished. For more, see this website.
