East Potomac Mini Golf Washington, DC | |||
East Potomac Mini Golf is one of the oldest operating mini golfs in the U.S. It opened in 1930 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has 18 unique holes with stonework, ponds, a bridge, a tunnel and other clever old-fashioned elements. It is part of an upscale golf course which opened in 1921. I have seen the place referred to as Circus Mini Golf Putt-4-Fun so it's possible it may have had circus-theme figures at one time. In 2004, the course was restored, maintaining the original look and obstacles. For more, see this website. [map] |
