Spanish Trail Motel Tucson, AZ 2004: |
||
2017: | |
2020: | ||
The Spanish Trail Motel has been closed for many years. It has been around since at least the 1930s. The round building in front and the wavy-roofed building behind it appear to be from the 1960s. It was used as the registration office, a coffee shop, and a bar. The yellow paint was added sometime after 2015. I believe the motel rooms are now used as apartments. In 2024, there was a major fire on the property. It looks like the round building suffered the most and it will likely be demolished. The sign was not affected.
