The Miami Beach Federal Savings & Loan was designed by Edwin T. Reeder & Associates and built in 1956. The digital clock on the top of the building alternated between the time and the temperature. There is another digital clock at street level. In the 1970s, it became a Financial Federal Bank. The building now houses a Bank of America. For more, see this website. [map]

Union Planters Bank

The Union Planters Bank was designed by Francis Hoffman and built in 1958. The building features a concrete screen block of circles and a floating staircase. In recent years, it housed a Regions Bank. The building now houses a law firm. [map]

The first former Financial Federal Bank & Loan Association shown above was designed by Edwin Reeder and built in 1952. In 1966, this 55-foot-tall "tripod spire" was designed by Herbert Mathes and added. It supported a sign with a digital panel which displayed the time and date. For more, see this website. [map]

The second former Financial Federal Bank & Loan Association shown above was also designed by Edwin Reeder was built in 1957. The facade has been significantly altered. I assume that this "tripod spire" was also added in the 1960s. For more, see this website. [map]

First Horizon Bank

I believe this First Horizon Bank was built around 1974 as a Flagler Federal Savings & Loan. The building now houses a cannabis store. [map]

Pinellas Park, FL
This former Florida Federal Savings & Loan was here by the late 1970s. It may have been built earlier. The building housed an Aaron's Furniture from at least 2007 until 2019. The building was vacant in 2020. [map]

This former bank was built in 1973. I believe it originally housed the First National Bank of Sebring. It was housing a Wachovia Bank in 2008. The building is vacant now. [map]

St. Pete Beach, FL
This First Federal Savings was built in 1963. It has the same design and details as the Madeira Beach bank shown above. It later housed a Wachovia Bank until around 2015 when it became a Wells Fargo. For more, see this website. [map]

Security Federal Savings and Loan
St. Petersburg, FL
This Security Federal Savings and Loan, aka the Skyline Building, was built in 1961. It was designed by Wenceslaus Sarmiento. The building is now occupied by the Grow Financial Federal Credit Union. There was originally a restaurant on the top floor known as the Skyline Room. The stone wall on the south side acts as a giant sunscreen. The building was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim Museum in New York City. For more, see this website. [map]
