Spaceship House Signal Mountain, TN |

The Spaceship House was built in 1973 by Curtis W. King. He built the home for his son and considered creating a subdivision of spaceship houses but it was too expensive. The steel and concrete building cost $250,000. It features retractable stairs and acrylic windows. The interior features round rooms, an elevated bathtub, black upholstered doors, mirrors, and gold and black wallpaper. The backside of the spaceship has a balcony. For more, see this website.
