The Utah State University LDS First Stake Meetinghouse was designed by James H. McCrea. It was built in 1962. The building originally had a gold roof and was referred to as the Golden Toaster. It contained two chapels. This photo is from 2014. The building was demolished by 2015. For more, see this website.

This Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints in Ogden appears to be from the 1960s. There were previously decorative cinderblock screens near the door. The white roof was added around 1988. For more, see this website. [map]

This Temple of the Latter-day Saints in Ogden was designed by Emil B. Fetzer. It was built from 1970-1972. These photos are from 2006. In 2011, the temple closed for drastic renovations. The building looks nothing like this now. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

This St. Mark's Lutheran Church was dedicated in 1963. The building was demolished by 2019.

Provo Utah Temple [gone]
Provo, UT
This Provo Utah Temple was designed by Emil B. Fetzer and built from 1969-1972. This was a sister building to the one in Ogden described above. During a 2003 renovation, the angel Moroni statue was added and the gold spire was painted white. In 2024, the building was demolished. A new temple will be built to replace it.
