Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals Radnor, PA | ||
The Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals was founded in 1909 as a dog shelter and the cemetery was created shortly thereafter. There are several thousands graves. In addition to dogs and cats, there are a horse and several other small animals (birds, guinea pigs and possibly a monkey) buried there as well. The cemetery is pretty much full and Francisvale is actively looking for additional space. The pet adoption center continues to operate on the same grounds as the cemetery. For more, see their website. |
