former dealership Perth, ON |
|
This former dealership, aka the Perkins Building, was built from 1946-1947. Joe Perkins used this building as a combination General Motors and International Harvestor dealership. In addition, there was an eight-lane bowling alley in the back of the building. The building was restored in 1982 and the gas pumps were removed in 1990. In 1994, it was subdivided into a variety of businesses known as "Perks 'N' Things". In 2021, the Perkins sign, which is original, was restored and relit. [map] |
