This Ford Building now houses Paul's Hometown Repair. Does anyone know when the dealership building was built or anything else about it? [map] |
Ford Building Fargo, ND |
|
This Ford Building was designed by John Graham and built in 1915 as a Ford Motor truck assembly plant. There were showrooms, stock rooms, and a garage on the ground floor. The second floor had offices and a repair shop. The third floor was used for the assembly plant. The nearby railroad had tracks leading right into the building. In 1956, Ford moved the operations to Minneapolis and closed this building. The building now houses retail, office space, and condos. For more, see this website. [map] |
