Crescent Garage
Yerington, NV
The Crescent Garage was built in 1935. At one time, it was a Studebaker-Packard dealership. The signs indicate that it sold AMC, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, and Jeep later on. The building has been vacant since at least 2005. [map]

C.O.D. Garage

The C.O.D. Garage was built in 1911. It was named after Clarence Oliver Dangberg who founded the town of Minden. Additions were made to the building in 1917 and 1927. The building also functioned as a dealership, selling Buicks, Chevrolets, Fords, Hupmobiles and Jeeps, as well as Lauson tractors and Goodyear Tires. The building also served as a Shell and Union Oil gas station. The garage closed in 2003. In 2008, it was announced that the building will be converted into a casino, bakery, museum, and day spa. In 2013, construction began and the Union 76 sign, pumps, and canopy were removed. Just after these photos were taken in 2014, a new canopy and sign were added and the place reopened as the C.O.D. Casino. [map]

former Pete Findlay Oldsmobile

The Pete Findlay Oldsmobile dealership was built in 1963. It was originally painted white with red trim. The building housed J.D. Byrider when the 2006 photo was taken above. The building housed a Service King and Hertz rental office in 2014. In 2016, the building was vacant. By 2017, it was housing Flamingo Collision. In 2021, the roof was painted white. The design appears to be the same as this former dealership in Long Beach, CA. For more, see this website. [map]

This building originally housed Desert Motors which opened in 1963. The dealership originally sold Plymouth, Valiant, Studebaker, and Avanti. In 2006, the building was housing Desert Chrysler Jeep. In 2016, the building was remodeled. The building now houses the Voss Automotive Group, a used car dealership and body shop. [map]
