The 4th Ave. Army Navy store opened in 1947. This sign may be from then. The store is now known as Big Ray's but this sign remains. For more, see this website. [photo thanks Sean Flynn] [map]
Club 25 was established in 1948 as a private club for women. This sign may be from then or the 1950s. Although, it looks like the panels might have been replaced. The building itself was moved in 1985 along with the bar (now open to all) and sign to its current location. For more, see this website. [photo thanks Sean Flynn] [map] |
