The Orpheum Theatre opened in 1920 as the Cook Theatre. The name was changed to the Orpheum about a year later. It is now the Okmulgee Community Theatre and continues to show movies. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map] |

The Poncan Theatre was designed by the Boller Brothers and opened in 1927 with vaudeville and silent films. The theatre closed in 1985 and was restored in the early 1990s. The Poncan is now used for live performances and movies. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map] |

The Allred Theatre was built around 1914. The facade was remodeled in 1935. The theatre was destroyed in 1942 by a tornado and rebuilt. By 2016, the marquee had been replaced with much smaller letters. For more, see this website. [map] |

The Ritz Theatre building was constructed around 1897 as a dry goods store. In 1913, it was remodeled as the Cozy Theatre. In 1926, it was renamed the Ritz. The theatre closed in 1988. It was donated to the City in 1999 and has been undergoing restoration since then. The theatre is now used as a live performance venue. For more, see this website. [map] |

The Hornbeck Theatre was designed by Jack Corgan and built in 1947. In 1973, the balcony was remodeled into a separate theatre named the "Penthouse". The theatre has been closed since 2020. For more, see this website. [map]
The FranRoy Theatre had opened by the 1940s. It has apparently been closed for decades. Does anyone know when it was built or anything about it? The sign was repainted green and white by 2023. The Brook Theatre was designed by William Henry Cameron Calderwood and opened in 1945. The sign was built by the Wally Werr Sign Co. The theatre was converted into the Brook Restaurant and Bar in the mid-1990s. For more, see this website. [map] |
Circle Cinema Theatre Tulsa, OK |

The Circle Cinema Theatre opened in 1928. It was part of the Chilton Building with apartments located upstairs. In 1957, one of the adjoining storefronts was incorporated into the theatre's entrance to create a larger lobby. In 2005, the sign was restored by the Claude Neon Federal Sign Company. Tulsa Theatre Tulsa, OK |

The Tulsa Theatre was designed by Rose and Peterson and built from 1912-1914 as an auditorium and convention center. It was used for live performances and events but it began showing films in the 1950s. Bruce Goff redesigned the interior in 1930. In 1952, additions were made to the front and rear of the building and it was renamed the Tulsa Municipal Theater. Stainless steel "Tulsa" letters were placed on the building then. In 1979, it became the Brady Theatre and those letters were removed. In 2018, it was renamed the Tulsa Theatre due to Brady's affiliation with the Ku Klux Klan.
