The Wyo Theatre was built around 1925 as the Crown Theatre. In 1950, the theatre was remodeled and the name was changed to Wyo Theatre. This photo is from 2012. The theatre closed in 2017. In 2019, it was gifted to Laramie Main Street which is exploring potential uses for the building. The building remains vacant and boarded up. The sign's neon has been replaced with LED rope.
