Firestone Colorado Springs, CO |
This Firestone store was built in 1968. This location has two big bowtie signs. [map] |
Firestone Denver, CO |
||
This Firestone store was built in 1965. The only other red and white tile Firestone facade like this that I know of was in St. Louis which had round barrel arches above the front window. Those arches have been removed and the tile either removed or painted over. Although this Denver facade remains intact for now, in 2023, the City approved of plans to demolish the building for a new development. The signs have been removed. [map] |
Firestone Pueblo, CO |
This Firestone store was built in 1936. The plastic pole sign was probably a neon bowtie sign originally. For more, see this website. [map] |
