Firestone Building Davenport, IA |
This Firestone Building appears to be from the 1920s or 1930s. The metal structures on the roof probably held big neon Firestone signs originally. This building has been vacant since at least 2009. This photo is from 2010. Since 2011, the building has housed Klemme's Klassic Kars. For more, see this website. [map] |
Firestone Iowa City, IA |
This Firestone might be from the 1950s. The freestanding neon letters are lit at night. [map] |
