The letters on this Firestone sign in Quincy are a very dark grey. [map]
The Firestone building in Watertown looks like it was updated in the 1960s with a fluted metal slipcover. This photo is from 2009. By 2011, the building had been repainted tan and beige. I believe this paint scheme was carried out nationwide around that time. By 2012, the neon letters had been replaced with plastic signs. For more, see this website. [map] |
