Marolf's Tire & Radiator Service featured several Firestone signs. The signs on the side of the building were probably the two panels from a pole sign. In 2022, the signs were removed by a sign seller.

This Firestone store was built in 1972. There were neon Firestone letters on the building until around 2016. They were replaced with a backlit plastic sign. This neon pole sign remains. [map]

This Firestone store was designed by Charles A. Smith and built in 1930. The building housed the Best Deal appliance store for many years. Around 2019, renovation of the building began. It will house Troost Midtown with apartments, offices, and retail space. [map]

This Firestone Building was built in 1915. There was a retail store on the bottom floor and offices above. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The letters on the Firestone rooftop sign were replaced with those for "Abdiana" in the mid-1990s. Abdiana, a futon company, is no longer in the building. The Firestone letter "F" is now displayed in the building's lobby. The rest of the letters are or were supposedly displayed in an upward pattern with one on each floor. For more, see this website. McDaniel Firestone had been located downtown since at least the mid-1950s but closed in 2022. This sign which had the original navy porcelain under the red paint was removed by 2024. This location which is west of downtown may still be operating. It had a neon Firestone pole sign which was gone by 2013. There were also metal McDaniel Firestone letters on the bay building next door. [map]

This Firestone was built in 1928 for the Foster-Hall Tire Company. The Firestone shield logo above the entrance has been removed. The building was renovated around 2023 but remains vacant. For more, see this website. [map]

Vandalia, MO
The Vandalia Firestone & Appliance store opened here in 1946. The plastic pole sign is around the corner just south of the store which is apparently a service entrance for tires and other repairs. [map]
