By 2013, this Firestone had been remodeled. The sliding glass doors on the bays at the left were replaced with metal ones. The neon sign on the building was replaced with a modern, backlit plastic sign. The neon pole sign remains. [map] |

The Firestone store in downtown Ripley is long gone but this sign remains. The building now houses MaxxSouth Broadband. [map]
This Firestone in Gulfport still has freestanding neon letters. Most of these around the country are being replaced with backlit plastic letters. [map] |

This Firestone building appears to be from the 1950s. This photo is from 2010. By 2014, the freestanding letters on the roof had been replaced by backlit plastic signs. [map] |
