City Hall & Fire House Auburn, CA |

This City Hall & Fire House building was designed by George Clinton Sellon. It was built in 1935 as a WPA project. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It now houses the Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. The Restroom building in the third photo was built in 2016 in an Art Deco style. [map] |

The Sill Building was designed by Ernest J. Kump, Jr. and built from 1939-1940. It originally housed the Kimball and Stone Drug Store on the first floor. There was a huge Coca-Cola and Weather Bird sign on the roof. For more, see this website. [map] |

The Auditorium was originally part of Washington Middle School. I don't know when it was built. It appears to be from the 1940s. The building now houses the Bakersfield City School District offices. For more, see this website. [map] |
