The Illinois Building was designed by Law, Law & Potter and built from 1927-1931. It originally housed CIPS (Central Illinois Public Service), an energy company. [map] |
St. Charles Municipal Building St. Charles, IL |

The St. Charles Municipal Building was completed in 1940. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Restoration work to the River Wall was going on when these photos were taken in 2009. For more, see this website. [map] |
