The Tower Dry Cleaners and Laundry building was designed by designed by Richard M. Wakefield. The store opened in 1947. The signs were removed when it closed in 2016. The building now houses Donutology. The "FUR STORAGE" letters were saved by the LUMI Neon Museum. The other signs are in several private collections. [map] |

The Union Carbide Building was built from 1930-1931. It was originally known as the Carbide and Carbon Building. The building now houses condominiums. [map] |

The Federal Reserve Bank was designed by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White and was built from 1920-1921. The building has been vacant since 2008 but may soon be developed for either a hotel or apartments. [map] |
Jackson County Courthouse and City Hall Kansas City, MO |
