This Woolworth building in North Platte was built around 2014. Around 1918, it was leased for a Woolworth store. It closed in 1990. The sign had been painted white for many years. Around 2017, it was painted the original red for Wilkinson Development, a real estate developer. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]
I believe this Woolworth store in McCook was built by 1931. Around 2017, the original recessed entrances were replaced with a flat lower facade. The building now houses Anytime Fitness. For more, see this website. [map] |
