Woolworth Stores |

This section focuses Woolworth stores. Their first store was built in 1879. Like Kress, Woolworth was a five-and-dime store. Not until 1932 did they begin selling things over 20 cents. A Woolworth building boom began in 1935 therefore many of them were built in the Art Deco style. However, there are plenty of examples here from before and after that era.
