Bob the Dinosaur is all that remains of Dinosaur Land which was opened in 1962. This statue was built around 1963. There were at least 10 dinosaur statues built by William Swan. There were also kiddie rides and a pool. The park was closed by 1964. At least one of the dinosaurs was relocated but no one knows where it went. The statue is tucked away behind some mobile homes and a retaining wall now. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2.

These dinosaurs were built in the early 1970s for what was to be a mini golf course. The project was never completed. More than 30 statues were built from concrete over chicken wire and rebar. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, and 3. [map]

These Glarfs are hybrids of dwarfs and dinosaurs. They were created by a high school student in 1959 as an anniversary present for his parents. The artist, Jerry Lee Gauss, died in a car crash four years later. The statues were originally installed in front of his house. In 1999, they were moved to their current location in the Bonita Village Shopping Center. The blue Glarf is named Rangui while the yellow one is Rumbi. The statues were being restored when these photos were taken in 2023. For more, see this website. [map]
