This Griff's Burger Bar is still in great shape. The sign was damaged during a 2019 tornado just a few months before the photos above. I have never seen the insignia sign above the entrance at any other Griff's. [map]

Both of these Griff's Burger Bars housed Tom's Seafood restaurants when these photos were taken in 2007. The first building shown above now houses Lee's Seafood. The A-frame was painted white around 2017. [map]

The second building shown above had been demolished by 2014.

Raytown, MO
This former Griff's Burger Bar in Lee's Summit had opened by 1967. The building has housed the 3rd Street Dispensary since 2020. The building was mostly concealed at that point by the addition in front and the roof feature was removed. The building housed the Shanghi Boy Chinese restaurant for many years with an adapted Griff's sign which is gone now. [map]

This former Griff's Burger Bar in Raytown is mostly concealed behind additions. The building appeared to be either vacant or in use as a residence when this photo was taken in 2010. By 2011, the building was housing the Blue Yuu restaurant. It now houses The Krave, a restaurant and bar. [map]

This Griff's Burger Bar was built in 1965 and closed in 2011. The building was still vacant and the sign was still there in 2013. In 2015, Yummy's Donut opened in the building and adapted the sign. [map]

By 2007, this former Griff's Burger Bar was housing the 5 Spice China Grill and these wave-like additions had been made and the rooftop vent was remodeled. The building is currently vacant. [map]

Albuquerque, NM
This Griff's Burger Bar on Route 66 was the last operating location in New Mexico. It closed in 2023 and was immediately demolished. These photos are from 2017. The disk-shaped sign panel next to Griffy had been missing since at least 2007. There was once another location in town.
