Farr Better Ice Cream started out at this location in 1920 as an ice plant. The company began making ice cream in 1929. It was originally owned by a relative of the Farr Candy Co. in Idaho Falls, ID. The Dairy Drive Inn appears to be closed but these signs remain. They appear to be from the 1960s. The pole sign depicts the Eat-It-All ice cream cone boy. [map] |

Rodger's Dairy Freez was built in the early 1950s as a Dairy Freeze. There were apparently other Dairy Freeze locations in Utah. In 1991, this stand became Rodger's and Jenni's Dairy Freez. It is now referred to as Rodger's Dairy Freez. The signs along the roofline and one side of the top rooftop sign have been repainted. [map] |
