| This former station was built around 1930 as an independently-operating station. It is known as the Snowden S. Mouse Service Station. The service bay building was constructed in 1934. Both buildings have been vacant for decades. They are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Sinclair sign was added sometime after 2012. This former station in Levant has been vacant since at least 2008. This Texaco sign was there by then. However, I don't know if this station ever operated as a Texaco or if the bricks on the roof are original. [map] |
