former station Amarillo, TX |
|
This former station has an extremely unusual design. I haven't seen this building or canopy style anywhere else. [map] |
former station Ballinger, TX |
|
This former station appeared to be vacant when these photos were taken in 2012. The labelscar from a former Cities Service clover leaf shaped sign probably has nothing to do with the original branding of this station. [map] |
former station Abilene, TX |

This former station might be used for storage space for the antiques store next door. [map] |

This former station was built from 1931-1932. It housed the Frank Haines Tire Co. then. The building housed a Texaco in the 1960s. The building had been vacant for many years. In 2018, there were plans to adapt the building for a coffee shop. In 2019, the canopy area was being walled up and an addition had been made between the bays and the canopy for interior space. In 2021, Tia's Taco Hut was about to open in the space. [map] |

This Texaco station was built in 1932. The canopy of this former has been walled up since at least 2007 and the building has been used as office space. It now houses 97w, an architecture and interior design studio. [map] |

||
This former station has housed Zoom-Zooms convenience store since at least 2007. The building is faced with petrified wood. The building's canopy design is quite similar to the station shown above in Houston. This may have been a Texaco as well. [map] |
