This Fireman statue in Lyons is installed in front of the Lyons Volunteer Fire & Rescue building. It has been there since at least 2012. [map]
This Fireman statue in Duncan is installed next to the welcome sign in town. It appears to be identical to the one in Lyons. |
Chef Boyardee Omaha, NE |

The six-foot-tall, bronze statue of Chef Boyardee was installed in ConAgra Plaza in 2011. It was later moved to a less visible location, in front of Building #6. John Lajba produced the statue for ConAgra Foods which is based in Omaha and owns the Chef Boyardee canned pasta brand. The statue represents both the Chef Boyardee character and the real-life chef, Hector Boiardi, who started the company. For more, see this website. [map] |

The original La Casa Pizzaria opened in 1953. The neon sign of Peppi was installed there in 1957. This location opened in 1965. The bronze Peppi statue was installed around 2015. [map] |

Omar the Troll was created by John Lajba and installed in 2019 under the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. The name Omar signifies the Omaha Metro Area River. |
Russell Speeder's Car Wash Omaha, NE |

The revolving, fiberglass statue at Russell Speeder's Car Wash was installed around 2006. The statue revolves on its base. It was built by FAST Fiberglass. There are many other Russell Speeder's Car Wash locations but this is the only one with a statue. [map] |
Covered Wagons Omaha, NE |

These Covered Wagons are part of the "Spirit of Nebraska's Wilderness" sculpture group which also includes buffalo and geese. The sculptures were created by Kent Ullberg and installed in 2002 at Pioneer Courage Park. [map] |
