Pee Wee Golf
Rio Nido, CA
This Pee Wee Golf was built in 1948 by Bill Koplin as was the Pee Wee Golf in Guerneville shown below. Due to frequent flooding, most of the original statues have been replaced. The pole sign is probably original but missing the neon tubing. [map]

Pee Wee Golf
Guerneville, CA
Pee Wee Golf was created by Bill Koplin in 1948. His brother, Lee Koplin, managed the business from 1953-1955 and then went on to build the Magic Carpet Golf course in Tucson, AZ. From 1957-1959, he built courses in Florida and Biloxi, MS. During this time, Bill and his son Bill Jr. continued to build Magic Carpet Golf courses in California.

Pee Wee Golf features 36 holes. Due to frequent flooding from the nearby Russian River, the figures are frequently repainted. Some of the figures have been replaced over the years. For more, see this website. [map]
